Warehouse Shipping Changes
Proco Products, Inc. has instituted new guidelines when shipping LTL truck shipments:
All pallet loads will be stacked no higher then 40 inches tall. This is to insure all pallet loads will not top over in transit.
Since standard warehouse racking is typically 50-60 inches tall, a 40 inch tall shipment will allow our customers to store goods more conveniently instead of breaking down goods at time of receipt.
All skids and crates will be strapped secure with nylon or metal strapping. Strapped skids will have two layers of shrink-wrap wrapped over each shipment for extra strength.
To denote that you have a shipment from Proco, all 40 inch skids will be wrapped in yellow thicker gauged shrink wrap. This insures goods in transit will be less vulnerable to pallet breakdown due to carrier incidents. Customers who receive 40 inch skids with clear wrap should question carrier service as shipment may have missing items due to pallet breakdown.
